The 8th Grade of Siskiyou School presents the classic American comedy, You Can't Take It With You, directed by Eve Smythe. Written by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart and awarded the Pulitzer Prize, this delightful play opened in 1936 to instant popular acclaim. The comedy went on to run 837 performances on Broadway before It became an Academy Award winning film in 1938.You Can't Take It With You attests to the timeless appeal of the humorous encounter between the conservative Kirby family and the fun-loving Vanderhof household. It is a love story, full of poignant moments of what is "the good" in life!
