The natural evolution of the discussion of people’s wants, needs, and desires must move from liabilities to assets. What do we bring to a relationship, not just what do we want?

The intrapersonal examination that has occurred over the course of the past three events is now expanding to our interpersonal relationships, not just with our immediate partner or family, but by natural extension, to the community and the world at large.

This examination rocks back and forth upon itself. What is a way to stimulate or create a relationship? By engaging in shared activities that all participants can be passionate about. This builds strength in our intimate relationships, true, but also in our relationship to community and in the broader global context. This is the kind of friendship building and cooperation we all must begin to contemplate if we are to flourish during these times of changing economic and political circumstances.

Sustainability in Relationships is the theme for the next What Do Men & Women Have? event at the Ashland Community Center on Thursday, May 26 from 6:15 pm to 9:30 pm. This will be a fun evening with a surprise guest performance, small group processes, and a continuing open discussion on the state of our relationships with ourselves and our community.

You are invited to join us for an evening of stimulating discussion. Entrance is FREE or by donation. Thank you for supporting your community!
