CREATION CENTERED SPIRITUALITY
TRUSTING YOUR BASIC GOODNESS
with Norma Nakai BurtonM.Div.
This Sunday we will explore what causes our distrust of ourselves, others and life, and the pathways to realizing and trusting who we are. We explore the steps of awakening from limiting beliefs, dissolving the resistance to direct embodied presence, and discovering the space and tenderness - the formless dimension - that is indivisible and whole. This is one of the basic tenets of a Creation-Centered Spirituality - that we are born with "royal personhood" and not in original sin. What difference would this make in your life if you really accepted this belief?

A Lived Practice of Nonviolence-Nonviolence speaks simultaneously to spiritual engagement, compassionate partnership and social action. What are the underlying principles that connect them? What might these principles look like, expressed in our daily lives? For two days we will look at these questions extending our articulation of heart and head in the service of peace and justice. Our focus is finding out what works when the question is human relationships and the world we want to live in. Everyone is invited! Please spread the word.
