Beyond the Split: A Field Guide to Oneness
How "Others" can help you find out who you really are
(feel free to edit or leave out subtitles)
Our nation is currently experiencing a dramatic "split"; half the
country thinks the "other" half is irrational and selfish. No matter
what side you're on, both sides of this split think that the other
side is consciously (or unconsciously) making choices that will
destroy our society. People no longer even attempt to talk to each
other since no one seems to be able to hear anything that does not
confirm their own point of view. This situation calls us to look more
deeply at at who we think we are and where we're speaking from.
Recently returned from Bhutan, Rev. Dr. Kim Kaiser experienced the
healing power that lies in the Buddhist practice of dedicating the
benefit of everything we do to the liberation of all being. Join us as
we explore the message of Bhutanese Buddhism and how it shows us the
personal and political healing that can be found in moving beyond the
"split."
