Our minister Norma Nakai Burton is back from summer travels with Native American Elders.

As the summer here begins to wind down I've been reflecting on the powerful current of transformation that is moving through our lives right now. We usually feel the winds of change as we return to school, send our kids off to college, or come back into our work lives from vacation time. But in these times, many of us are being asked to change in unprecedented ways. More than ever we now have the ability to tap into some exalted healing energies that will assist us in resetting, balancing, reprioritizing, and recreating our personal visions so that they align with the ultimate mission for our lives. Even as we seek to live our individual destinies more fully we know that we need one another. Throughout the remainder of 2012  we need to find our way into soulful communities that serve our lives, as well as our hearts. We must help one another to come forward as the teachers, healers and way showers during this time of flux.

Quote for the Week:

To live in this world you must be able to do three things:

To love what is mortal,

To hold it against your bones knowing
      your own life depends on it;
And when the time comes to let it go, to let it go.”
