The message of the Christ is that we are not limited.
The love of God cannot be measured by human standards.
There is a higher form of love – Buddha called it Metta, Christ called it Agape, Sufi’s call it Divine……
This love is not about getting what you want. It’s about the healing of your immortal soul. For too long we in the West have based our satisfaction and our definition of love on getting what we want. At what a cost? Things are way out of balance – as everyone has had to admit. What radical kind of love does it take to get us back into balance? What rediscovery of the power of love can truly harmonize our inner and outer worlds? To HARMONIZE is the task of the 4th night of the Mayan Calendar’s final count. Can we make the lead now to HARMONY in our deepest core?
At the bottom level of consciousness people are very angry for the pain they are experiencing. We need to move up the ladder of consciousness. The lower energy fields are all negative states of suffering. We need to take up the COURAGE to see that something can be done about the way we can be with pain. Do we have the courage to let go of resisting pain? Courage turns toward surrender to a power greater than ourselves – to sitting at the table of Mystery. There is room at this table for everyone. This is the radical kind of love we have yet to live into.
