A Book and a Bowl: Awakening Your Inner Indigenous
Suzanne Mathis McQueen thought she had stepped into her calling when she was guided to write about a long-forgotten doctrine of core female power and wisdom, only to find that this was only the beginning. The topic of her recently published book, 4 Seasons in 4 Weeks, and a water blessing ceremony (that she has been providing to gatherings over the past 4 years) seemed to be unrelated until a Lakota woman stepped forward and handed her a powerful responsibility—an ancient healing bowl to help bring her messages together and into the world.
Suzanne will discuss the power of using symbolism to awaken your “inner indigenous” —an earth/spirit connection which organically aligns with the natural values of the planet, setting the stage for a balanced social model to surface.
The healing bowl will be present as a water blessing ceremony and attendees will be invited to individually step up to it to bless the water and themselves.
