TRANSITION TOWN ASHLAND invites you to join us at this month's ACTION PLANNING MEETING on Thursday, August 20, at 7 p.m. in the Gresham Room, downstairs at the Ashland Branch Library.Action Planning Meetings give people ways to work together on community-based sustainability. They are held on the Third Thursday of each month. People who come to these meetings have the opportunity to join existing Action Groups or to form new ones. Action Groups report on their process, and they give and receive ideas and support.In addition, on the 20th, Mayor Stromberg and City Councilor Carol Voisin will tell us about Ashland City Council Goals, and we'll have a chance to discuss them and to offer citizen feedback. Please see the following item.---------------------------------------------Join the Discussion of Ashland City Council GoalsThe Mayor and the City Council have issued a request for citizen feedback on the Council's Values, Vision, and Goals. You can review them athttp://www.ashland.or.us/Page.asp?NavID=11991.We discussed City Goals at our Third Thursday meeting in July, and we've received input from many people.We have set up an e-group to facilitate discussions about this topic.
