TRANSITION TOWN ASHLAND invites you to join us at this month's ACTION PLANNING MEETING on Thursday, September 17, at 7 p.m. in the Gresham Room, downstairs at the Ashland Public Library.Action Planning Meetings are held on the Third Thursday of each month. People who come to these meetings will have the opportunity to join existing Action Groups or to form new ones. Action Groups report on their process, and they give and receive ideas and support.------------------------------------------------------------------------In addition, on the 17th, we have some other activities planned, as well:------------------------------------------------------------------------Help plan the future of Transition Town AshlandWe'll tell you about some of our plans and possibilities -- including The Great Unleashing and the creation of an Energy Descent Action Plan -- and we'd like to hear your ideas and inspirations.------------------------------------------------------------------------Get involved with a project, such as-- 350 Day (What is it? Come! We'll tell you.)-- Bridge-building to different interest groups in our community-- Working together to finalize our feedback on City Council goals-- Creating a focus group for our presenters-- Helping to make arrangements for our public presentations------------------------------------------------------------------------And . . .------------------------------------------------------------------------We're looking for a laptop computer.When we do public presentations, we use a PowerPoint slideshow to help us convey the information.
