Transition Town Ashland invites you to our next Introduction meeting, where you can learn about this exciting, community-based movement to create a sustainable future. The meeting will be held on this coming Thursday, February 4, at 7 p.m., at Peace House, 543 S. Mountain, just above SOU, in Ashland.We host these Introduction meetings on the First Thursday of every month. On the Third Thursday of every month, we host Community Action Planning meetings. The next one will be held on Thursday, February 18, at 7 p.m., at the Ashland Library, downstairs in the Gresham Room. Salatin is a sought-after speaker who addresses a wide range of issues about food, farming and politics. His humorous and conviction-based speeches are akin to theatrical performances, often receiving standing ovations.
