Open Space works best when the work to be done is complex, the people and ideas involved are diverse, the passion for resolution (and potential for conflict) are high, and the time to get it done was yesterday. You can learn more about Open Space Technology at http://www.openspaceworld.org/cgi/wiki.cgi?AboutOpenSpaceHere's a video about a Transition Town Open Space (3½ min.): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ux_LFjFeCvgThis Open Space will help us create our Great Unleashing, the big event in which the Transition group reaches out to the whole community, to engage, to celebrate, to share ideas, possibilities, inspiration, and fun. It encourages people to get involved, to be part of the solution. Here's a Link to the TransitionUS Webpage on Unleashings around the US, including videos, how-to’s, lessons learned, and articles.
