Transition Town Ashland invites you to our next Introduction meeting, where you can learn about this exciting, community-based movement to create a sustainable future. The meeting will be held on this coming Thursday, January 7, at 7 p.m., at Peace House, 543 S. Mountain, just above SOU, in Ashland.We host these Introduction meetings on the First Thursday of every month. On the Third Thursday of every month, we host Community Action Planning meetings. The next one will be held on Thursday, January 21, at 7 p.m., at Peace House. We recommend that you attend an Introduction meeting before you come to an Action Planning meeting.NOTE: Our Third-Thursday meetings are normally held downstairs at the Ashland Public Library, but in January, it will be held at Peace House.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Permaculture Design Course, Winter 2010There are just a few places left in the winter Permaculture Design Course with teacher extraordinaire Tom Ward. Learn whole-systems design and skills for local self-reliance. This is the full 84-hour certificate course, and is held over 6 weekends during January through March, starting on January 16th.
