Traditional Thailand Massage Intensive with D'Vorah

Come enjoy a wonderful opportunity to learn an ancient healing art. Traditional Thai Massage integrates ayurvedic, yogic and Chinese medicinal ways of treating the body. Learn to perform a full two-hour treatment on friends, family and/or clients. A full session includes stretching, compression, rhythm, meridian (sen) work and joint mobilization. The intensive includes daily practices of mindful movement and meditation.This workshop is open to anyone, not just LMTs. Thai Massage is performed on cotton mats on the floor; participants wear loose comfortable clothing and should have the ability to move around on their hands and knees. We cover supine, prone, seated and side-lying positions. The environment is meditative and playful; learning is all hands-on!
