On September 21st and 22nd ScienceWorks presents TinkerFest, a celebration of thinking with your hands.  The festival includes a car take apart, 3D printing, tinkering stations, a Frisbee throwing robot, playshops by nationally renowned tinkerers and artists, and much more.

Special events include Tinkering Outdoor Films, Saturday night at 7:30.  Bring your blanket and watch 40 minutes of short films taking a quirky, quizzical look at machines, science and film.

TinkerFest will run from 10 am to 5pm both days.  Admission is $5 per person.  Playshops require pre-registration and separate fees.  This tinkering celebration is made possible, in part, by the City of Ashland and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.  Details at www.TinkerFest.org.
