A Benefit for Access Food-share

The Venue Community Civic Center LLC is proud to present Lambsbread, all the way from Kauai for their West Coast Tour, accompanied by The Cultivators. Local reggae favorites Ras Cricket and Marko, plus hip-hop artist Kamaki, and DJ Tripple Crown, along with The Illies opening, are also featured. This is a benefit for Access, and attendees are encouraged to bring 3 cans of foods to support the food-share, and enjoy and evening of family and friends and great Hawaiian style music.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Lambsbread

From Kaua'i, Hawaii the Lambsbread bring a hot new sound to the worldwide reggae massive. With powerfull delivery and lyrics for the open minded, this duo brings the message of "Jah Love" to all ~ no matter race, color, or creed.


Roots reggae from the Hawaiian Islands has started to receive a lot of attention in recent years. One of the smallest and most beautiful of these islands, is the island of Kauai. From this small island in the Pacific comes the mystic sounds of the Lambsbread. Bringing pure fyah to the stage, lead singer Kaya delivers a message of upliftment and positivity to the crowd. Adding her angelic voice and sweet harmonies to the music is female vocalist for the Lambsbread, Nadia. On stage they are backed by The Cultivators, from Ashland, Oregon, a solid Roots-Reggae band featuring some of the best reggae artists of the area.

The Lambsbread has been producing some of the toughest roots reggae music out of Hawaii, as well as having successful releases with several Jamaican producers. With a dynamic live show and songs that keep the people dancing all night, the Lambsbread has established themselves as one of the hottest upcoming reggae groups touring the West Coast this year. Anthony "RasCricket" Cusenza, is a long time reggae artist and Dub producer on the West Cost, who has played in reggae bands from Southern Oregon to Seattle for 16 years. "This musical prodigy’s talents have the capability to grab the ears of music and program directors across the globe with the intent of reversing the trend of playing senseless music on a commercial stage. His inspirational lyrics and vast knowledge of instrumentation is a true gift to music lovers from all walks of life."
