Storytelling, Music and Spirit, Saturday , July 10th at 7:30 PM, Havurah Shir Hadash

Master Maggidim (Hebrew for "the ones who relater") from across the United States have come to Ashland for this year's Maggidic Gathering at Havurah, bringing their storytelling and musical skills with them. Maggidim live and breathe to tell a good story, lighting up their performances with a heartfelt passion for their trade. Schooled in classic Jewish storytelling, shamanic myth-weaving, balladeering, and song leading, the Maggid is the Bard in the Jewish Tradition giving it over for all its worth. On Saturday, July 10 at 7:30 PM there will be an evening open to the entire community of Storytelling, Music and Spirit. $10, children under 12 free, no one turned away.
