Our storyteller is Tomi Hazel aka Tom Ward. It's the early twenty second century and the rains and Salmon have returned. The surviving humans (after the long catastrophes) have established a pilgrimage route around Mount Shasta (E-ah-ika).
The stewardship cultures in the valleys below the route provide saddle shelters with local provisions and passage beads to string as a memory and meditation necklace.
This winter tale will paint a picture of the celebratory and appreciative gratitude walk--about lasting a month or more with the great white massive in view.
Come and circle together as our minds walk around the glory of our environs. Around and around but never on top (Shasta Tribal greeting to the shining white one).
