This difficult hike will take us to the top of Wagner Butte, the second highest peak in the Siskiyou Range, offering extraordinary birds-eye views of Ashland, the Rogue Valley, the Siskiyou Crest and even the Southern Cascades. We will hike through second and old growth forests, wildflower filled meadows, sagebrush and mountain mahogany and even pass by a locally rare grove of Aspen along the summit. This hike is slightly over 10 miles in length, so please arrive prepared for a solid day of hiking!Meet at 9 am at Evo's Cafe in Ashland to carpool to the trailhead.
