Embracing the glorious, sensuous state of being with child
An informative, playful, and open exploration of sex & intimacy during this special time in life.
Many pregnant couples and mothers have questions and concerns surrounding intimacy and sex. In this workshop, we will share insights and address common questions.
This open, supportive discussion will cover:
- The anatomy, physiology, and psychology of sex and intimacy during pregnancy, labor and birth.
- Care of vaginal tissue and flora during pregnancy for a healthy birth
- Orgasmic or Ecstatic Birth: What are they talking about?!
- Hormones that aid in all processes from conception to birth.
- Engaging the natural hormones that can make pregnancy, labor and birth a more joyful experience.
- Learning healthy, sincere intimacy and getting in touch with one’s self, partner, and baby.
- Open questions and answers: Is sex completely safe during pregnancy? What can I do about my sex drive? Are orgasms going to hurt my baby? Can I still use a vibrator?
Couples are encouraged to come together and we welcome single moms and same-sex couples.
