Havurah’s Annual Auction – Saturday Night Fever
Feeding the Community, Feeding Ourselves on Saturday, November 9
Doors will open at 5 Pm on Saturday, November 9 for the annual fundraising auction at the Havurah. The theme for the night is Saturday Night Fever and attendees will enjoy food & wine flowing throughout the evening and live musical entertainment by Cyrise Beatty Schachter, Andrea Shupack and the Ashland Dance Company.
Our bi line is Feeding Ourselves, Feeding the Community. The Havurah has partnered with the Ashland Emergency Foodbank and Access, donating a portion of the proceeds to feeding the hungry in the valley. Guests are encouraged to bring donations of food to the event. The Havurah community is always loyal to those businesses who support us, but this year as a unique way of giving back to the generous businesses who donate to this event each year, Havurah members are purchasing gift certificates from their favorite eateries and donating them to the auction so everyone’s a winner!
The silent auction will feature wine and food, gift certificates for wine tastings at local wineries, restaurants, body work as well as concert and event tickets. We’ll even have gift certificates to pamper your car! The live auction features wine tastings, a progressive dinner for eight hosted by three gourmet cooks, an electric bike and an electric scooter, as well as exotic vacation getaways such as a week in a private villa in Sayulita, Mexico, a week in a luxury home that sleeps nine in Honolulu, and a vacation home near the Berkshires for nine! There will even be a local “Spacation” for those who prefer a getaway without the driving.
50/50 raffle tickets are on sale now for $5 each or five for $20. Winner wins half the pot and need not be present on auction night. In addition, only 50 Live Auction Raffle tickets will be sold for $50 each with the winner claiming any Live Auction item valued at less than $500 – including weekend getaways, wine tastings and much more.
