Mentor TrainingHave you ever thought about mentoring a teenager who needs extra support in his/her life? The Rose Circle Mentoring Network is looking for male and female volunteer mentors to match with youth ages 10-17 in the Phoenix-Talent School District.A one-day mentor training will be held in Ashland on February 6, 2010, 9:00 am -- 5:00 pm. Participants will learn about becoming a mentor to an individual child or teen. After the training and background checks, the Rose Circle will facilitate an appropriate mentee match and provide support & supervision.For more information about the weekend training or to register, go to www.therosecircle.org or contact Ellen Craine, ellencraine@ashlandhome.net, 488-2361.
