One-day Mentor Training

Women and men who are interested in mentoring young people are invited to attend a one-day mentor training Saturday, January 8, 2011, sponsored by The Rose Circle Mentoring Network. Participants will learn about becoming a mentor to an individual child or teen. The training will be held at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, 9 am -- 5 pm. The cost of the training is $75 and includes all training materials, snacks and follow-up support and supervision. Some scholarships may be available.
The Rose Circle is looking for adults--both men and women-- to provide group and/or individual mentoring to boys and girls in the Phoenix Talent school district. We are also looking for women interested in mentoring pregnant or parenting teen girls.
