The Rogue World Ensemble celebrates its appreciation of the world's diverse and beautiful musical traditions with audiences of all ages. The ensemble will presents wide repertoire of songs which showcase hauntingly beautiful harmonies in both a cappella style and with instrumentation. The concert will include Bulgaria, Israel, Caucasus Georgia The Rogue World Ensemble takes the audience on a journey in which they experience love, longing, family, faith and community. The music speaks to everyone because it is reflective of life events common to all people.Rusalka is a women's vocal quartet that celebrates the musical traditions of Eastern Europe, South Africa, Guinea, Israel, Russia, Italy, and Appalachia, among others. Our music is a sampling of the regional genres that includes love songs, lullabies, celebrations of the natural world and stories of every day life. The three and four part harmonies are hauntingly beautiful representations of vocal styles that have existed since antiquity.Tickets are $10 in advance at Heart and Hands, $12 at the door.
