The Rogue Valley Symphony will present its Concert Series I for the 2011-12 season.  Jeffrey Biegel, guest pianist, will perform Liszt's "Piano Concerto #1" and Emerson's "Piano Concerto."  Also on the program are Haydn's "Symphony #45 'Farewell'" and Barber's Essay #1.  Music Director Martin Majkut will present a pre-concert talk one hour before the performance.  Please call the box office at (541)552-6398 for tickets or visit our website at www.rvsymphony.org.  Student tickets are $5, depending on availability.  Repeat performances in Medford at the Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater on Sept. 24 at 7:30pm and in Grants Pass at the GPHS Performing Arts Center on Sept. 25 at 3pm.
