The Rogue Valley Symphony will present its Concert Series II for the 2011-12 season.  Chas Barnard, guest cellist, will perform Saint-Saens’ “Cello Concerto #1”.  Also on the program are Wagner’s “Dawn and Siegfried’s Journey from ‘Gotterdammerung’” and Schumann’s “Symphony #3 ‘Rhenish’”.  Music Director Martin Majkut will present a pre-concert talk one hour before the performance.  Please call the box office at (541)552-6398 for tickets or visit our website at www.rvsymphony.org.  Student tickets are $5, depending on availability.  Repeat performances in Medford at the Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater on Nov. 5 at 7:30pm and in Grants Pass at the GPHS Performing Arts Center on Nov. 6 at 3pm.
