Our next gathering of the RVNC will be Sat. Oct. 16.The topic is:The "Whole" Sugar Story – a scary pre-Halloween Story* What sugar and starches do to our bodies, our health and our culture.* How we've become entrapped and addicted to these "sweetest" of all foods, and how they take their toll on our lives.* And, what is the way out?* And why would anyone want to cut back and give up on their sweets?* All this and more in this pre-Halloween thriller.This month we'll meet at the Jackson County District 5 Fire Department, Community Classroom, from 11:00 to 1:00.The location is 5811 South Pacific Hwy, Phoenix (but it's closer to Talent than Phoenix); I suggest you bring a light jacket or sweatshirt because its sometimes a bit cool in that room.The presentation is free.
