Testimonials:
"Asha opened me up to a whole new way of being in nature. My inhibitions melted away into a luscious sensual state of ecstasy. It was so unexpected. I have always loved being in nature but have never experienced it in such a sensual way. I feel this new aliveness in my dreams and waking up the next morning. It was beyond my wildest expectations and continues to be profound for me." -Tom
"There is something remarkably rewarding about Asha's "Rewilding the Body" event at Buckhorn Springs. Perhaps it is due to the profound presence of the trees, meadow and stream, perhaps it is Asha's ever so skillful way of guiding you in the "rewilding" experience. Regardless, My husband Bill and I have both enjoyed this offering over the last two years. It is surprising and delightful." -Zoe
"You brought such a beautiful, authentic presence to the group - great job with the facilitation!" –Brenda
"I liked being my wild animal (self) with other people. I do this kind of wildness on my own and having others present to witness and share was a delightful play time." -Paul
Workshop facilitator Asha Goldstein has been exploring sensual connection with the earth since she was a child and is so joyous to bring this experience to the Ashland community. Asha is a psychotherapist and dancer with training in deep ecology, mindfulness, vision fasting, singing, and improvisational dance.
This is the third annual ReWilding the Body workshop, a day-long event that is very dear to my heart. Exploring my wildness in nature has been a deep source of joy for me since my teenage years. I love feeling my body open to her animal ways- sniffing all the smells of the land, feeling the incredible textures of nature against my skin, taking in the colors and shapes of the landscape, tasting the air, hearing the rustle of grass, the sound of wind and insects, birds and water. Something wonderful awakens in me during these explorations- a sense of being deeply of the earth, and a joyous feeling of oneness with all that the earth is. Out of this joy comes my dance and my song... letting my body move and be moved, sing and be sung by the wider and wilder me that is both my physical body and the larger body of earth and sky, water and air. I find great fulfillment in sharing this magical exploration with others and helping to guide others in opening up to the full animal sensuality and creative expression of their bodies. I hope that you will join me!
This workshop also marks the beginning of my private counseling and coaching practice, specializing in dance/ movement therapy, sensuality coaching, embodied mindfulness, and Shadow Work. I will be offering more workshops and classes in the months to come. You can learn more at www.ashagoldstein.com.
