She will be the first to tell you she thinks she has made about every mistake in the industry that can be made. She became interested in showing after acquiring some fancy Quarter-Horse weanlings to fit and train for halter classes. The result was, a successful job of fitting, conditioning and showing a handful of American Quarter Horses for clients from Washington, California , Oregon and Nevada.. Meanwhile, there was a nagging compulsion to write. After retiring from the equine industry in the late eighties she went to Santa Barbara to take care of her father. While there, she began to write. Many volumes of poetry and adventures connected with horses began to evolve. Some were published and some were set aside. After attending College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California where she continued her writing as well as pursuing a degree in Animal Science she decided to get serious about writing. She now has two novels in print: Portrait of Raynee and Return to Whiskey Hill. Based on cowboy life today, true characters and real-life drama fill her books with page turning excitement. If you like humor, intrigue, cowboys and their horses, you will like "PORTRAIT OF RAYNEE and RETURN TO WHISKEY HILL".
