Hear from two local Ashlanders, Mary Anna Jones and Regina Ayars, who traveled cross country, through Mexico and into Cuba to participate in the 2010 Caravan to Cuba sponsored by Pastors for Peace.Bring a dish for a potluck and stay to hear Mary Ann and Regina tell about their adventures and experiences with stories and photos of their travels. Hear how construction materials, tools, medical equipment, school supplies and medicines collected cross the country, were donated to the Cuban people. Hear how the Cuban people work organic, sustainable urban gardens and farms, attend free schools through the university level, including medical school.
