Ashland Historic Railroad Museum invites you to revisit a summer day in Ashland, July 20th 1904, when the two worlds of Ashland, the railroad and Chatauqua existed side by side, where "women in white summer dresses" prepared breakfast at the Chatauqua grove while "men in blue-bibbed overalls" finished their 12-hour shift at the Ashland train yard. Rogue Valley railroad historian and writer, Larry Mullaly, will read from his original work, "Pulse of a Summer Day", accompanied by award winnning fiddle player, Judy McGarvey . Come enjoy this presentation on what Ashland was like one hundred and five years ago. This event is free and refreshments will be provided.
