This coming Tuesday, September 14, Amanda and I will be flying to Pensacola, Florida to visit Gino in jail and attend his sentencing. Our friend and community member, Paul Moss will be going with us. Gino's sister will also meet us there. Each of us will address the judge, speaking on behalf of Gino's character in hopes of affecting her sentencing decision. We return Friday, September 17. If things go well, God Willing, we will bring him home with us, after 6 months in county jail (10 months total jail time.) If things don't go well, he could continue staying there for up to 6 weeks before they transfer him to a Federal Prison for however many years/months Judge Casey Rogers gives him. If that happens, we hope he is able to go to the prison near Salem, The Sheridan so we may visit him easily. Amanda and I would like to invite you to hold us in your hearts, your prayers, and your thoughts during this time. Who knows, perhaps with many, or even just one, holding us in the right way, it could make a positive affect on the outcome. No matter what happens, we will make the best of the situation, our faith carrying us onward. HIS SENTENCING HEARING IS SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 16, 1 - 3PM (EST) or 11AM (PST).
