What do pirates and science have in common?  Come to ScienceWorks Sept 15 & 16 in your pirate costume and learn about the Golden Age of Piracy and more at our 2^nd annual Pirate Weekend!  The B.O.O.M Pirates (Brotherhood of Oceanic Mercenaries) are returning with stunt shows, cannon blasting, shanty singing, and Pirate-themed hands-on activities throughout the weekend.  Figure out how to float a boat! Use tools to search for buried treasure! Discover how sailors navigate with the stars! Get all tied up in knots!  Rogue Valley Roasting Co. will also be on site with tasty treats.
