Its the fifth Wednesday of the month, and as such its time for something a little different on the dance floor. Many of us are resting in the afterglow of a fabulous contact improv weekend playshop with each other under the stellar guidance of renowned teacher Carl Frost. We explored depths of space, form, touch, and emotion that continue to resound within my being today. It is all of this that I wish to share, support, and encourage more of Wednesday night. So, this week's dance is a Contact Improvisation Celebration. The music will be chill, spacious, and evocative, with just a hint of swanky eased in for texture. If juicy, slow, and deeply connective is your desire, Wednesday night promises to satisfy. Be advised that the magic music bus will NOT be traveling anywhere near the rousing heights of chaos nor the driving beats of funky town this week. We're gonna stay loose and wide all night long!Your non-dancing, chill, massage, schmooze-time will be supported with hot ginger tea and tasty treats. Anyone moved to add more wholesome goodies to the mix is highly encouraged and thanked for their offerings in advance. Let's all have a wonderful, mellow, heart warming time together during this week of dark, chilly, wet weather. There will be plenty of opportunities to shine bright and shout again soon enough!Open Heart Dance - Leading Edge Creation Freestyle DanceWed. March 31, 8-10pm at the DanceSpace, 280 E.
