OK, I have more than usual to share in this e-mail so please read it all the way through.Is the dance taking you deeper within yourself? Is it taking you deeper in your connections with others? Would you like to feel greater safety and a greater sense of the sacred as we ride this wave further together? If so, this week's dance is for you.The music this week intends to foster a quieter, more spacious opportunity to connect deeper within ourselves and with others. The music will be mellow, spacious, and evocative. It will support a deep Contact Improv experience for those interested, however, everyone and every dance style is welcome. You will be supported in your journey. In service to that support, I'm adding something new to this Wednesday's agenda:Before the dance (7:00 - 7:50) Dinah Breakell and I invite you to an open hearted dialogue about our dance experiences. We are interested in a transparent conversation about this beautiful world of dance we are co-creating, this experience that is so many things for us - healing, transformational and sacred, fun exercise, a place to meet people, and more. It can be about making art and it can be about emotional catharsis. What an incredible canvas the dance floor is.This is an opportunity for the men to hear what the women have to say and visa versa. All topics such as physical and emotional safety, boundary issues, non-verbal communications, specific technique etiquette, observations, inspirations, etc. are welcome and encouraged. This is your chance to reach for greater empowerment within your own dance experience.Dinah's and my desire in this is simple; we want to see and feel this amazing dance process that's occurring continue to dive deeper and rise higher for all of us. We're all involved in the Great Work of our time...the healing of ourselves, each other, the physical world...and the dance is one arena we have chosen to do so within. If you have something to share, show up and be heard. If you have a desire to witness others in their sharing, show up and listen.
