This week begins with tonight's solstice, the longest night of the year, and ends Friday with Christmas, probably the most light-filled holiday of the year...contrasts generating a colorful field of possibilities within which we all move and create. Wednesday's dance intends to support a wide arc of movement between an inward exploration and an outward celebration. We will begin in a still, sonic darkness that gradually gives way to the illuminating splendor of the season. And yes, there will be just a few (count 'em) holiday tunes along the way...just enough to tide us over til Lizzi gifts it up in a big way on Xmas Day evening.
