Nonviolence in Theory and PracticeMonday evenings, September 13 - November 15, 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm, Peace House/Friends Meeting, 543 S. Mountain, Ashland. Immerse yourself in a 10 week study of the power of nonviolence to transform our lives and our world. After a thorough study of the theory of nonviolence, we will move into practical applications in our daily lives, culminating with a group project to bring our learning into the community.The series will be drawn from the Pace E Bene curriculum, Engage - Exploring Nonviolent Living, with additional materials drawn from Nonviolent Communication and other practices. The course will be taught by Anna Cassilly, Education Programs Coordinator at Peace House. Anna has been teaching communication and conflict resolution skills for the past twenty years and recently completed the Pace E Bene "Agents of Nonviolent Change Program". She has also trained with Marshall Rosenberg in Nonviolent Communication.The fee for the 10 week series is $125 if registered by Sept. 3rd; $135 after Sept. 3.
