NIA AND THE POETRY OF KABIR

Come co-create the sacred space of healing - for yourself, for another, for the world.

Join movement-as-prayer leader and holistic physical therapist Rachael R. Resch for a special Nia movement event focusing on healing.

Move your body's way to the gorgeous sitar and tabla music of David Whetstone and Marcus Wise as they accompany Robert Bly speaking his translations on the CD "Kabir," based on Bly’s book, “Kabir: Ecstatic Poems,” published by Beacon Press.

Rachael has studied with Robert Bly for over 20 years at his Conference on The Great Mother and The New Father. “Bly’s translations of Kabir are inspiring to move to,” she says. “For example, Kabir says, ‘Be strong then, and enter into your own body. There you have a solid place for your feet. Think about it carefully! Don’t go off somewhere else.’”
