NEW LOCATION for the Transition Town Ashland Action Planning Meeting-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Due to a scheduling mix-up, the location for Thursday's Action Planning Meeting has been changed -- It will be held at the Bellview Grange, 1050 Tolman Creek Rd., just north of Siskiyou Blvd. (99) in Ashland at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 21st.An edited version of the original announcement follows.TRANSITION TOWN ASHLAND invites you to join us at our next ACTION PLANNING MEETING on Thursday, May 21st, at 7 p.m., at the Bellview Grange, 1050 Tolman Creek Rd. in Ashland, just north of Siskiyou Blvd. (99).Transition Town Ashland is a network of community-based projects designed to enhance sustainability and increase our capacity to meet basic needs locally.Action Planning Meetings are held on the Third Thursday of each month. People who come to these meetings will have the opportunity to join existing Action Groups or to form new ones. Action Groups report on their process, and they give and receive ideas and support.At the May 21st meeting, we'll be hearing from the TTA Food Group on procedures that are working well for them, that might help other Groups -- and from the TTA Strategic Group on their planning process for Transition Town Ashland. We'll also have general discussion, break out into Action Groups, do SpokesCouncil Networking, etc.Introduction Meetings -- presentations on the principles of the Transition Town movement -- are held on the First Thursday of every month, at 7 p.m. at Peace House.
