St. Clair Productions presents Native American flutist Scott August in concert on Saturday, November 6, 8 p.m. , at the Unitarian Fellowship, 87 4th St., Ashland. Native American Music Award winner, and three time nominee, Scott August is a nationally acclaimed composer, producer, keyboardist and Native American flute player know for his forays into World Music. August is one of only a handful of musicians to master the Anasazi rim blown flute. His music has been featured on the nationally syndicated radio shows “Hearts of Space” and “Echoes” as well as receiving airplay on the the digital networks XM, Sirius and DirecTV. He has also composed music and sound design for hundreds of films, commercials and video projects, for clients such as NASA, The Discovery Channel, Lexus, Chevrolet, HBO, Nabisco, and Minolta.Tickets are $20 in advance, $22 at the door, $10 for teens 12-17 and free under 12.
