Matthew Fox, the renowned theologian, scholar, and spiritual maverick, will be speaking in Ashland on Saturday, July 16 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Fox is known for taking on patriarchal religion, advocating for a creation-centered spirituality of compassion and justice, and calling for re-sacralizing the earth.
He has devoted 45 years to developing and teaching the tradition of Creation Spirituality, and, in so doing, has reinvented forms of education and worship. His work is inclusive of today’s science and world spiritual traditions and has awakened millions to the much-neglected earth-based mystical tradition of the West.
