For Jeannine Grizzard’s “Just Ten Minutes with Mom” an estranged daughter bonds with her mother’s ghost to heal old wounds.
Ruth Wire’s “The Winner”: offers a tantalizing woman who accepts a prize while removing a man’s writer’s block. In Cynthia Rogan’s “The Gift,” an eccentric Aunt bequeaths what she hopes will help her kin live better lives.
