Please join us for Spiral Living Center's Fourth Annual Local Foods Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday, October 22nd, at the Illinois Valley Senior Center, 520 East River Street, Cave Junction, from 5:30-9p.m. This is a fun way to celebrate our community's farmers, gardeners, and gatherers as more than 90% of the food served will be locally grown, harvested or gathered! Vegetarian and meat options available. It has been a great year for gardeners and gatherers, with apples, pears and other fruit crops in abundance, as well as veggies, animal products, wild mushrooms and berries. Proceeds from this event will allow Spiral Living Center to continue to offer free skill-sharing events around the Illinois Valley, which includes the Illinois Valley Farm Festival and Selma Skillshare. Together we can make this a sustainable community!
