Blood carries oxygen and nutrients to the cells and carbon dioxide and acidic wastes out of the cells and out of your body via the kidneys, bowels, lungs and skin. Blood is central to all body metabolism and interfaces with all body systems and is therefore an excellent medium for testing. It is a good barometer of current health and predictor of future disease.
Visual inspection of living blood is an educational and motivating experience. While working in holistic medical clinics in Chicago I have seen patients turn their health around after one or two live blood analysis sessions.
