St. Clair Productions presents Legends of the Celtic Harp with Patrick Ball, Lisa Lynne and Aryeh Frankfurter on Saturday, February 1, 8 p.m. at the Unitarian Fellowship, 87 4th St., Ashland.  Tickets are $20 in advance, $22 at the door, $10 for teens 12-17 and free under 12.  Tickets available at at www.stclairevents.com, 541-535-3562 or at the Music Coop in downtown Ashland.

Three premier Celtic harpers take you on a joyous, dramatic musical journey deep into the myths, legends and history of the Celtic Harp.  Patrick Ball on wire-strung harp and spoken word, Lisa Lynne on Irish bouzouki, Celtic harp and Mandolin, and Aryeh Frankfurter on Swedish nyckelharpa, Cittern and Celtic harp.

“The performance was nothing short of spectacular.  A blend of music and oratory, falling somewhere between concert and theater, it spanned nearly the range of human feeling; from humor to tragedy, tenderness to rage, reality to mysticism, and more besides.  The effects were powerful and exhilarating… It isn't really accurate to say that Patrick "tells stories" - what he does is more like bringing stories to life, or bringing you into the world of the story.  It is a kind of magic.” Tim Bray KZYX
