Join KS Wild staff and supporters at Stillwater for a report back from the crew who recently completed the Siskiyou Crest Transect: a backpacking expedition through the proposed Siskiyou Crest National Monument from the Illinois Valley to Mt. Ashland!We will screen video dispatches edited in the field and show the amazing still photos of landscapes and wildflowers by SF photographer Martha McCord!Good beer, good people and awe-inspiring footage of wilderness landscapes right in our backyard!Come learn about the rapidly growing campaign for the creation of a Siskiyou Crest National Monument. This rugged area straddles the Oregon/California border and is home to some of the highest levels of biological diversity in the country. Get to know your bioregion and help us gain permanent protection for this special place!
