Howdy All!I'm inviting everyone to come dance, schmooze & celebrate the beginning ofmy 56th year at my dancing birthday party, music fest, this Friday night,Sept. 10th, at Wellsprings. It's a VIRGO PARTY ... & here's the deets:Firstly, ALL Virgos get in FREE (please show your ID). That's Right, Free!'Cause, as we Virgos know, we rock!!! I mean, c'mon, from, as some havecalculated, Jesus, yes Yeshua, Yahweh, the Big Mr. C, Señor Alpha & Omegahimself was reported to be born on my b-day 9/11/03 (that's BC!), as wasMoby, Mickey Hart, Harry Connick Jr., O. Henry and D. H. Lawrence & LolaFalana to name but a few funky characters!Sugg. donation is $5.00 ea. for all other signs of the zodiac with 100% ofall donations go to David Homel & his 'Big Fun' band. Big Fun areexcellent, seasoned musicians who play a very spirited & unique blend ofupbeat Dead-Styled & very dancable Jam Band Rock & Roll. They've invited me to sit in with them on harmonica on a handful of tunes, and also invited meto spin an hour of my favorite funk-filled music from about 8:30 - 9:30.Thanks Big Fun! Here's the approx. schedule:7:00 to 7:45p I'll be laying down some very chilled, ambient opening music,just like I used to do at SpiritDance, then, at 7:45 or so, David & Big Funwill step into the mix with their first set of dancin' music until 8:30 orso. Around 8:15 or so I'll be sittin' in with them on the harmonica.Then around 8:30 I'm goina throw down an hour of my favorite funk-filleddance tunes, and I hope EVERYONE can join in the celebration. At about 9:30I'll hand the flow back to Big Fun and they'll carry it on until 11pm, atwhich time, we'll move the party to the new fire pit under the Casbah tentand make hours of sweet acoustic music together... so make sure to bringyour acoustic instruments, gentle sound makers, etc.Please, adults only. Vegetarian Indian Food will be avail. for purchase atmodest cost of $7.00, as will decaf Chai... And if you want to 'take in thewaters' &/or hit the sauna, Wellsprings has been kind enough to lower thecost to $5.00. Thanks Jerry!!!Also, please, no presents necessary...
