A celebration to mark the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day will be held on Tuesday, March 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the Plaza  in downtown Ashland.  Shirley Patton will emcee, and live music featuring Sarah Jane Nelson, Las Colibri, the Ashland High School Women's Choir, Nancy Spencer & Cyd Smith,  and members of the Siskiyou Violins will be presented.  Women at the event will be offered free Dagoba chocolate and a 23% discount on lunch at Louie's Restaurant & Bar.

This community event is free and all are invited to join in the celebration and recognition of women's
