This Thursday, June 21, at 7:30 PM we are honored to host one of our our four yearly interfaith gatherings (June 21, Sept., 21, Dec. 21, and March 21). Our special teachers for the solstice will be our local favorites Rabbi David, Rev. Ruth Kirby, and Rev. Pam Shepherd. This gathering, however, we have a once in a lifetime treat. Dimple Bakshi and Devapria Gokani are the daughters of Ashland’s beloved elders and teachers, Krishna & Kumud. They are elegant traditional Indian dancers who make dance into prayer. Their three dances each tell a story from sacred Indian writings. Dimple lives in Baroda, India and is a disciple of Swami Sukhabodhananda; Devapria lives in Germany and Pune, India and is a disciple of Osho. Join us for what promises to be a magical evening of learning, prayer, chant, and dance. Free.
