Victor Novick is offering classes in Hana Somatic Education, designed
to help the body release chronic pains and distortions, and become more free, flexible and pleasurable to live in.
See details below.
Hanna Somatic Exercises
Gentle easy and comfortable movements
designed to teach the conscious brain to reconnect
with muscles that are lost to it because of chronic contraction.
This is Sensory Motor Amnesia (SMA), which occurs when you learn
to hold yourself tightly in reaction to pain, injury or emotional stress.
SMA may create distortions in posture and
a variety of painful and potentially disabling conditions.
Somatic Movement Experiences can provide
tools for self healing in a variety of areas including
v improved mobility strength and coordination
v improved posture and appearance
v relief from many painful conditions
v greater ease of breathing
v improved athletic and dance skills
v greater pleasure of movement in a body more supple and flexible
v brightening of spirit and greater sense of peace
