We are not immune to the devastations of these times. How do we strengthen our resilence? How do we stay keep our hearts open during these times? Is there a hidden potential during these times?

These times can pierce our heart open to the essential realization shared by Thomas Merton. “We do not exist for ourselves alone, and it is only when we are fully convinced of this fact that we begin to love ourselves properly and thus also love others.” I believe learning how to intimately engage with grief in a shared community container is essential component in keeping our hearts strong, soft and compassionate.

Grief Writing groups offer a safe space for people to gather and explore grief and loss through writing. When we honor grief as sacred, it reveals a loving intelligence that can help us restore vitality, connection and joy to our lives. These writing explorations offer an invaluable support to engage with your heart, your grief and your inner worlds. These very simple explorations can be integrated into your life on a daily basis as an ongoing deepening and support. All sharing in this group is held in a respectful space. There will be no advice given. There will also be no attempt at ‘fixing’ your grief, loss or story. This group offers a an incredible opportunity to be exactly who you are and where you are in your prcess. We invite you to join us and experience the magic that can happen when honor grief as an expression of love.
